We do not release your name or contact info to employers. Employers have access to your profile (Career Interests and Skills) but not your name, email, or phone. Their message comes from our system and they are contacting you solely due to an interest in speaking with you about an opportunity. It is up to you to reach back out and share your information or contact them directly. This keeps control in your hands.
As long as you are active in our database, you will be automatically entered every month. Winners will be selected the first Monday of the following month. Winners will be contacted via email or text. We will be giving out $100 gift cards each month and the number awarded will be dependent on the number of messages sent that month. For every 200 messages, we will give away (1) gift card. A maximum of 50 gift cards a month will be given out. Please see full rules in the app.
None! Never! Any fees are paid by employers (as it should be). As a matter of fact, we share those fees via monthly sweepstakes with all people who are active in our database.

We want Bongo to be the starting point of a conversation. Life happens and previous work history isn't always the most important thing. Sometimes, it is nice to start off with a conversation and turn the focus to what you (the potential candidate) wants to do next. Sure, work history will be asked at some point but let's get conversations started first.
We do not collect resumes and this is by design. We use a quick form based on what someone wants to do and if it matches what an employer is looking for, they will send a message. You can respond if you are interested in the job being presented. The employer may ask for a resume at some point, but we want Bongo to be the introduction to the company. We don't need a resume for that!
There are none! No job postings to review. Who likes them anyway? All you need to do is fill out a quick profile. When an employer searches and comes across your confidential information, they will reach out. They will provide you with the details of the company and the position. If it sounds good, you can follow up. If it doesn't, you don't need to.
No problem! Just log into the system and go to the profile section. The profile section will consist of the initial form you created. Make your changes and click "Save." If you don't know your password, just go to the login section and click "Forgot Password."

Remember - they can't contact you via phone or email since we don't release that information. They can only message you from our system. If you aren't interested in the job they sent, you really don't need to do anything.
Wouldn't you like to know? :) Well, the majority of our effort is spent behind the scenes. We use our recruiting skills to find people that aren't necessarily looking for jobs. We don't just use SEO and depend on Google to find us job seekers. That has already been done and doesn't always work. There are so many awesome people out there who aren't on job boards. We search them out!
Do you really want to? Seriously, we don't offer that by design. We are not a typical "job board." We don't ask employers to post a job, then hope that someone finds it, actually reads it, and then maybe applies. We do things differently. We encourage people with the skills that employers want, to fill out a quick profile. We ask what they want to do. Employers can sign up, do a search, and send a message within our system. That message will contain job info and entice the candidate to respond. After this introduction, you can determine if there is a good fit and go further into the interview process.
We know everyone loves looking at resumes, but we don't have any. We ask people to fill out a quick form with their career interests and just enough information for employers to determine if there may be a reason to have a conversation. We are looking to make connections between potential candidates and employers. We don't feel a resume is needed for that to occur. Make the connection and then if there is a fit on both sides, go further into the process.

We always hope they do, but we also tell candidates that there is no obligation on their part to respond. This is a candidate driven system and we intend to keep it that way. That stated, our goal is to make connections between awesome people and equally awesome employers. If the job details and salary are enticing to the candidate, they will most likely respond. You can always try them again; however, more than twice is not nice.
We know it is a little different, but so are we! When you send a message to a candidate, we take a portion of that fee and share it with the candidates in terms of gift cards. It helps keep candidates engaged, adds a little fun, and lets candidates share in the revenue.
The only fee is to employers (lucky you!). We have a premium offer (it's our only offer) - it is $49 per month and $2.50 per message sent. We don't offer any other pricing tiers. One simple premium product and pricing! Companies of all sizes pay the same. Bigger companies will send more messages and smaller companies will send less messages. Fair all around - right?
While that would be extremely sad for us, we know this new type of recruiting system may not be for everyone. Your subscription is month to month and no pressure to keep using a system you don't like. We would always love to hear your feedback (good and bad).
